MY KEY TAKEAWAY FROM DISTANCE LEARNING WITH IU

From my distance MBA degree from the International University of Applied Sciences (Germany), I learnt that no one will spoon-feed me to achieve my dreams. Rather, I need to fight for myself and then get others to collaborate with me on my journey. I immensely appreciated the flexibility an online degree brings, but I also learnt that if one is not careful, the flexibility can make one lose sight of the intended objective and become lazy. Also, in my Finance and Accounting field, I learnt many things including how to use different performance measurement tools for better decision-making, and how to create a corporate strategy practically, among others.
At the beginning of my studies I was not sure of how my distance learning journey would end, but by God's grace, today it has materialized successfully. I am more efficient and knowledgeable in my management role, and I am grateful to IU for the opportunity, for the robust technology utilized, the amazing, competent lecturers, quality and relevant study materials, the flexible payment terms, the swiftness in obtaining grades after an exam, and for all the assistance I received from their service center, study coaching, and exam support teams. I am especially grateful also to my project supervisor, for coaching me to give off my very best in my capstone project.
