Good option 4 online studies with room to improve

It could really have much more video based content. The videos that exist are mostly just reading off the course book. Which is pointless because I can read by myself. Further explanations, deep dives into complex topics, a q and a area. All those would be helpful. Also completely nonsensical to delete old recordings of live sessions. And then don't even have a download button. There really is an opportunity with this type of university to make amazing study content by just improving it over time. But this opportunity is not being used at all. Why not cut out the most useful parts of the live sessions and upload them permanently to the videos page of the subject for example. Instead the approach seems to be to have the professor answer the same questions over and over again in a teams chat (if there's a response at all). Only saving grace is the flexibility that the University offers, which is the only reason I attend it at this point.

We always take our students' feedback seriously and are very grateful when they point out potential for improvement. This is the only way we can continue to develop, so thank you for your feedback on the videos and live sessions.
Since the beginning of 2023, we have optimized our existing teaching formats based on the prevailing wishes and needs of our students. Depending on the size and nature of the course, there are now the adapted Learning Sprint and the Intensive Live Sessions, which are available in the Course Feed without prior registration.
These teaching formats are always recorded. In principle, the optimized teaching and media concept applies to all online teaching courses, with the exception of courses with Creative Lab. If you have had different experiences here, please contact us via our community mailbox: community-fernstudium@iu.org.
In principle, our students are optimally prepared for the online exam with the script in the respective course. All other learning materials serve as optional support and supplement.
