Very structured and an apt course of study

The course provided is very structured and well planned. It’s a very thoughtful course not found in any other universities and very apt for the career i am working on. Contents of the course attends to every quality a sw engineer shall have in his/her contribution to embedded world. The book lessons are filled with neatly explained theories. A highlight I experienced is it brings together people with experiences in various fields of applications , come together prepared with each lessons and learn from each other as well.
I choose this platform of distance education as it was impossible for me to afford classroom studies. This course with DISC is the perfect platform where I could fulfill my wish for a masters degree in the same field as my professional experience.

Qualified and competent tutors

Most of the tutors of the course were very competent. The weekly tutoring sessions were very useful to properly understand the course materials and to clarify any doubts. Course materials were also of good quality. General aproach was the students study one chapter of the course book.

Habe dieses Studium gewählt um mich parallel zu meinem Beruf weiterzubilden.
Das Lernportal des DISC ist gut, die Inhalte sortiert und für Einsteiger freundlich. Da ich mich momentan im ersten Semester befinde, kann ich bezüglich der Seminare und Anwesenheitsphasen keine Aussage treffen. Für den Moment fühle ich mich gut abgeholt. Als negativ empfinde ich das (für mein aktuelles Modul) veraltete Studienmaterial. Es ist 2020 und das Modulhandbuch beschreibt Sachverhalte wie "Voraussichtlich werden schon 2010 etwa ...". In einem Themengebiet, in dem eine Dekade wie eine Ewigkeit erscheint, ist das für mich ein No-Go!
Zusätzlich ist der Preis mit 2000€ pro Semester natürlich heftig, wenn man bedenkt wie "hoch" der Aufwand auf Seite der Universität für diesen Studiengang wohl sein mag.
Da ich bisher insgesamt aber eher neugierig und zufrieden bin: Eine Empfehlung es jedenfalls mal für ein Semester zu probieren, wenn man an dem Thema interessiert ist.

A well planned course for professionals

It was a very well planned course including online sessions and course material. Hands on experience during online campus was one of the key take-away. This course help in understanding embedded software development with industry standards, theory and laws. This will surely help in up-skilling a software engineer in various roles. It is one of the very few distance learning programmes in this field.
